Marc Robert is a writer-director/producer from the U.S. living in Berlin. His first short film, The Djinn SETI (2001), won Best Graduate Film at the 2001 Ivy Film Festival and is available via iFilm.com. His debut feature—the Berlin-set, apocalyptic thriller Able (2008)—premiered in the Midnight X-Treme section of the Sitges International Film Festival and is being distributed by Critical Mass Entertainment.
Marc has written treatments and scripts for a range of European companies as well as publishing short fiction in Salt Hill, WebConjunctions, and The Kenyon Review. In 2003, he received a Pennsylvania Council on the Arts Fellowship in Fiction Writing.
He regularly consults on topics including business plan development, script development, European co-production and sales for peacefulfish, a Berlin-based media consultancy. Marc is also co-founder of Stotler/Robert Film.
